Google Earth Vice County Boundries
You can open the following files in Google Earth to plot the Vice-county boundaries of Northumbria. The Vice county boundaries are permanent and were drawn in the mid-nineteenth century. While much of these boundaries follows current county borders there are exceptions. Also, it is normally assumed that rivers mark the boundaries. However, this is not always the case, in places the course of these rivers has changed.
